emission controls...

okay, i just put a new 3sfe jdm engine in my 87 celica. the engine i bought doesnt have a place for the egr hook up to the head. is my car gonna run if i dont hook up the egr or is that something that i need to have. there arent any emission control laws in arkansas so as far as legally im good to go but i just need to know if my car is gonna run.

Re: emission controls...

Yes it will run, and if they don't check for a EGR and do the sniffer test then you should be OK.
