Shocks? Springs? Struts?, what do i need for my '89 gts?

hey guys like the topic i was wondering what my brothers car would need... he says he needs to replace badly.. every time he goes over bumb he feels it hard... so what is it he would need to replace? struts? shocks? <------ are those two things the same lol, springs? or are they coilovers? i havent had a chance to look... i also dont know to much about these celicas. also i would need to know a good place to buy the suspension item, so if yall know a good place let me know thanks.

by the way guys, as you can see im brand new to this forum but looks like i might be spending some time here due to the fact that my bros whos just got this '89 gts and it needs some work, so far we replaced alternator, spark plugs, just to get it started which was weird, cause he said when he tried to start it, it wouldnt even make a noise. either way by the time we took it all apart and tested starter and alternator, and put it back together it was turning over no problem... so it must have been the plugs or starter may have been connected wrong or something. but now he drove it and noticed bad suspension so this is where were at. just to let you know a lil more about us(my bros devin- hence devsgay) and myself (danny- the smarter of the 2 which is all bad lol) i drive 86.5 supra. he doesnt have comp so it's up to me to find all the info i can on his car :D thanks for any replys guys. i really appreciate it.
