trouble :(

ok iam getting rdy fo my turbo install on my 3sfe and i ran into some problems-.- i installed a new water pump and timing belt... when i was installing the timing belt i just ripped the timing belt cover off (like an idiot) i put on the new timing belt and i didnt see a peice of plastic in the way (peice of the timing belt cover by the crank shaft pully) so when i cranked the engine over i stoped on the 3rd turn over and i kept trying and it wouldnt start...... now i totaly messed up my timing belt settings... what do i do and how do i line it up... is there anyway to align my timing belt notches without the timing belt cover? and did i do any damage to my 3sfe motor when the timing belt slipped off? and 1 last question is the 3sfe a non interferance engine? or not? if it is i know i didnt do any damage

im confused... the markings should be on the metal plate between the tappa cover and the gears.. having it on the cover would be silly, people are forever loosing and breaking them.
