camry alltrac compatability
do the 2nd gen camry 88-91 use the same transmission readr end axels driveshaft(will need to be shortened) and everything that a celica alltrac uses exept the engine, if someone was to buy a wrecked camry and cut the floor out of it, shorten it up and put it on a gt-s. make a frankenstein car would it work.
the reason for a camry is the cost nothing and there much more common than a leeka AT. this would not be an expensive operation it would not cost any money if you do it yourself and can fabricate mounts for the rear end and such. is there very much diffrence between an alltrac and gt-s chassis considering the exhause well where the driveshaft and exhaust have to fit, the gas tank would have to be modifyed and the rear end would just need mounts to hold everything in place. |
