A stock 3rd or 4th gen 3sgte could depending on the wrx's mods and if you drive it right. Of course you most likely won't get him off the line with your fwd. I'm not too familiar with it, but I'm seeing the WRX with about 230hp/217tq. 3sgte- 240-250hp/224tq. More power and torque, less drivetrain loss, and a bit less weight.
