Thanks for your quick responses Sir.

I just quickly did an on line check to try to find out where the ignition coil is located on this car (1992 Celica GTS widebody) and one of the answers on the "All Experts" site says it is located inside the distributor cap ! Another person had already asked that question and that's what they said to that person.

Is this true ?

I don't have my tools here to go any further today (left them on an acreage).
It looks fairly simple getting the distributor cap off and the distributor itself if I don't find any obvious problem with the coil itself.

If the coil is NOT in the distributor, please let me know where I might find it.

Regarding the other question about the relay for the fuel pump! I cross connected it and it made no difference so I'll leave it the way it was.
