It sounds like that maybe your problem. Ther is suppose to be a cable coming from the coil to your distro cap. I think to get that cable you may have to buy a wire set. But the good thing is. There not that expensive. I think like 30 to 40 bucks for a bosh set at autozone.. And its never dumb to ask a question. Some people arnt mechanics and some people are. So I won't make fun of you ill just try to help expand your knowlege
