Just checked for the diagnositc port and I found a small grey plastic box with "diagnostics" on it. Popped it open and found grease on top of all connectors. I just got back here to double check on which oprts to connect with ignition ON. There are numerous ports in there.

Also, where would I find the coil ?
I can't find it.

And when I looked at the distributor connections, I see the 4 spark plug cables exiting the distributor, but no center cable from "coil" to distributor. On older cars this was different. Is this normal ? You're going to laugh at my dumb questions LOL.

Going back to jump these connections and see if I hear that noise you mentioned.
