Hello. I'm a guy who loves Toyotas, especially Celicas and this is why I had bought each of my daughters their own Celica in mint condition a few years ago. One is a 1992 Celica GTS wide body, beautiful black Celica. However it is getting old and we just had the clutch completely replaced. Now it will not start, not even a spark. Motor turns over freely and there appears not to be any other issues. I am told it may be the distributor because this apparently is a problem with these cars after a certain age. Can someone direct me to the proper forum to ask how to get the distributor out and if there may be another problem ?
Also, while checking the fuses in the engine compartment, I came across a smaller fuse box located on the passenger side of the engine at the very front. IT has one fuse missing, the FUEL PMP spot is empty. Toyota was unsure as if there should be a fuse or relay in there. Any ideas ? Someone else told me it may be a fuel pump problem...but I still think because there are no sparks, it has nothing to do with the fuel pump. ???
I look forward to a response or two to repair this problem and get this beautiful car back on the road.
Thanks a million.
R. May
