Re: Oil Catch Can help
Naw this stuff was like water, I just poured in the rest of the GTX and it was like olive oil, this was like toilet water. I normally use Syntec but I thought I had sludge and decided to go with a really thin oil this winter, I have a can of synthetic ready to go for spring I just wanted to see if I would get better gas mileage with thinner oil and maybe clean out the engine a little... guess not. no change in gas mileage, I think it even got worst. I use to get about 340 to 380 now im lucky if I get 320 (all city driving tho, Rathburn to 401 and Mississauga rd every day.) I got this car in October and it ran like crap.. a tuneup later and it was running ok but I noticed oil all over the plugs when I changed it. Thought it was the pcv so I put in that ghetto catch can, wow I wish I could catch as much fish when I go fishing then I do crap with that catch can!
Pineapple - I checked my coolant and it is at normal levels, so Im not sure what else it could be. Should I do an engine flush then change oil already?
