Im sorry to break the news, but there is no way you will make 150 HP on a 5SFE engine with $500. I know people who have done full cold air intake, headers, and full exhaust, and have just barely broke the 100 HP mark on the dyno.
I also seriously doubt you made a 10% increase in power with just a magnaflow muffler, but im sure it helped a bit over the stock unit.
If you think you're lucky, try a nitrous system.
