Is insurance really that bad over there? I mean, when I got a quote on an '88 Supra it was $2000 a year just because it's got over 170HP and it's a 6-cylinder, and I'm doing about $1200 a year right now because I'm a "new driver". Next year it drops down to about half, though. Most of the insurance companies treat the older Celicas like a friggin Camry now (and I say this because my friend got the exact same quote, down to the dollar, on his Camry).
