Bassil, ensure all of your connections are tight. The key one to look at is the rubber sleeve that connects the tube to the stock intake manifold. Make sure it's good. Also, your MAF sensor needs to be securely mounted and tightened in the new K&N setup. I have had mine in for over a year and had no problems with it. (Other than when the Hotchkis sway work was done, it broke the seal on the tube to manifold) Also, ensure the CEL is related, perhaps the actual code speaks to something else. Fwiw. Dave.
