E, no way. We need to go to a 03 block??? I am saying this and wondering what the heck as the 1ZZ is also used as the stock engine for the Corolla. I know a chap who had a 02, and he told me very recently that his entire engine was replaced due to this issue. Mine is not leaking at all, and I recently passed the clean air test. She is just somehow consuming about a 1/2 litre per change. I can't believe it is a block issue. E, any more details on why this is so?
