Optima coil the "plates", more like sheets. Best shock protection you can get. Nothing to crack or break.
I've totally drained my Yellow Top for so many times and its still works. Car take same number of crank to start at +20C to -20C. I've boosted V8 truck with it also. The guy look at my Celica and doubt the battery will hold. I proved him wrong.
